Our Car Top Speed

Fellow Bro Bonkers!

Just got back from Kl on Sunday nite.... Something came to my mind as i drove back.

Was wondering whats our cars actually top speed?
we may know our horsepower ect and on our speedo shows whats the max but really whats the limit? ( my shows 220km, ha ha like i can)
Anyway i push my ride to the max with 5 ppl inside. Dont need same conditions and wherether stock or mod, (god-damn speed limiter)

Lets share! I start the ball rolling with mine little pony.....

1. Mazda 3 Sp 1.6 170km/h (Speedo) Stock, (normal KNN air filter, 17"rims) A/c on full loaded with 5 ppl total inside. NS highway.

Hi Bro,

Though it not my car, I have this experience with 2 different cars while I was in Germany on a business trip. I suppose you know or heard about this Auto Bund in Germany. Its their high way which most part of it have go not speed limit. My experience was as follows:

BMW 525
Indicator Top Speed is 260km/h I think.
Auto Gear
Top speed which I experience was like about 240km/h with only the driver and myself.

BMW M5
Indicator is 280 or 300 I think.
Manual Gear
Top Speed I experience in the car with 1 driver and 3 passenger was like 260 or 250.

Comfort drive, very exciting. Road users were all very discipline, and were extremely good.

Haha Bro! to drive a M5 ( sweet!) on Autobahn must be a dream for most!

you a lucky chap! And i heard that then drivers are really discipline there.

Yes Sir, and I enjoy it. how about you??

Anyway now in Germany, the car rental companies do not rent cars with high performance to Asians anymore, its due to accident there with Japs, Chinese (China), Taiwanese, etc. Unless you have a friend or business associate there whom can let you have a go with their car.

was tied up with work... COE 2mrw... Me only drivin a M3.... Haha a Mazda 3 sp... would luv a M or a 335 would be best... Drove 335 for my customer... no words can explain its drive... thats y a BMW driver will never chose other make...

Haha... bro i believe every 1 of us will push our cats limits, of coz the 5 passengers in my car freak out the 1st time i did it... after then they fall asleep....

But to all bros, what i did was i did a first parade task on my ride b4 setting out, check my tires, engine oil, radiator fluid ect... next make sure had enff sleep, water parade ect.. AND didn't drink any alcohol during the journy... ( younger days i you drink n drive on NSH ) and stock up drinks ie red bull n snacks...

Hi Bro,

A Beamer is a drivers car..... the 3 series is good for the driver and the front seat pessanger.... back seat abit uncomfortable.

the 5 Series, is comfortable both front and back.

the 7 series is a lux car........

What can I say... I think even if I made enough $$ in the future to cone I think I wiould still stick to the 5 series. Maybe in 20 years time then switch to the 7 series. LOL

i tried my dad m5, i went to genting topspeed I CAN GET only 270km/h
my civic stock 210+ stock. but need very long time den can hit.
my accord hit 230+ stock.
my nissan cabstar hit 130km/h just Yesterday!! hahaha

Well Bro Henry,

M5 top speed at 270km/h?? Honestly I do not know, as the car speed limit even in Germany is pagged at 250km/h
If I am correct, my 520 top speed at the meter is peg at 250km/h Honestly I think my car can only push at about 220 ~ 230km/h max.
But there again it too dangerous to do it here locally. We are not trained and we are also not used to such high speed.
I know of cars that can go beyond 300km/h....... Just about 3 weeks ago, together with some VIP customers we went to our German factory again, and the big boss brought us to this race track that rents sports model for us to drive in the circuit. If you cannot drive then there are pro drives to spin you around too.
I tried trice, first with the driver driving, top speed is at 310km/h, then 2nd time I had a go myself with the pro sitting beside, top speed 270km/h, finally 3rd round with some more guidance and I managed to hit 302km/h at the straight leg of the track.
All sports car are Lotus only. So I believe with the Horse or other better models, I believe at 350km/h or more is not a problem.
Lastly Road Cars are Road Cars they are not meant to go beyond certain speed.

Personally driven an Audi RS6 5litre V10, 580hp, 480lb-ft torque

240kph on Sepang circuit Straight. Realised how short the straight was but to hit that speed in that short distance shows the car's power....
love the speed... will do over and over again if I had the chance...

Personal car... German Make ... 210kph on N-S highway with 1 gal.

-315km/hr (1000cc)

Car -
-Civic 1.6 with 5 pax auto 199km/hr (with open pod , exhuast and e-manage)
-lancer boosting 1.2 bar- 229km/hr (pipe / open pod / cam / turbo / other)
-Civic type R - exhuast - abt 220km/hrs
